What is Our Iron Working Process?

During the design stage, we’ll discuss your goals, provide ideas and budgets, and take a careful look at your property. Once the design is approved, the fabrication process begins. We cut and shape iron in our shop using various tools, including saws, hammers, and presses. For more ornamental designs, tools like CNC machines and plasma cutters help. We then heat the iron and shape it.

After shaping, we assemble the pieces by welding or riveting. Welding is more common, and we even provide welding as a service throughout the Huntsville area. Welding provides strong and seamless joints that can withstand significant stress. Lastly, we’ll grind and finish the iron to smooth out any rough edges and achieve the desired texture. A protective coating goes on top of the finished product.
